Sunset Soirée Release Party | Wedicity x Chicago Style Weddings

On July 9, 2025, Wedicity co-hosted the Sunset Soirée Release Party with Chicago Style Weddings aboard the Spirit of Chicago. More than 550 industry insiders gathered for a Tulum‑meets‑Chicago celebration that featured a sunset sail, captivating décor, and fireworks over Lake Michigan, making it one of the most unforgettable events of the summer.

A Floating Celebration with Skyline Views

The four-level dining yacht was transformed into a vibrant event space with tropical-flair hanging florals, lush lounge vignettes, and signature “Tropical Splash” cocktails served in colorful glassware. Thoughtful touches like custom logo napkins and branded signage elevated the experience.

Levels of Delight: Sights, Sounds & Surprises

Each level of the Spirit of Chicago offered its own experience:

• Bottom (Fiesta Deck): Live guitarist by Park Avenue Orchestra and luxury cigar rolling by Bright Light Entertainment.

• Middle (Jubilee Deck): Upbeat DJ set from City Cruises Live created an inviting lounge vibe.

• Top (Open-Air Deck): A vibrant Key West–inspired set from Visualize Entertainment featuring DJ Scott Gerke and a steel drum player, all capped by Navy Pier’s iconic fireworks display.

Capturing Every Moment

The glam squad Feeling Pretty Inc. ensured the FS and Wedicity teams looked their best in a scenic suite at Sable at Navy Pier before boarding. Throughout the night, Jaymi Nichole Visuals captured the high-fashion energy while La Novia Creations kept the social feeds buzzing. A cinematic wrap-up by Luis Andres of Prospect Cinema brings the magic to life.
